Over these difficult days, where half of the World experiences brutal wars (Egypt, Siria and many others), I think it’s important reminding the activity of those who believe in the Dialogue of Civilizations for Global Citizenship. This is the case for the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research.
Daisaku Ikeda, the founder, showed through different pubblications and several international activities that evens Muslims and Bhuddists can have a deep and peaceful dialogue.
The Toda Institute is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to the pursuit of peace through peaceful means and a complete abolition of war. In cooperation with other peace organizations that resist injustice and promote nonviolent conflict transformation and resolution, the Institute aims to maximize the efforts of people of peace of all backgrounds and convictions everywhere.
They believe in the power of personal transformation, dialogue and effective global governance for peace.
I think those who believe in the same message will find in this institution a sign of Hope for the Future. ANd maybe they will want to get involved.
