Secret land art garden to celebrate art days in Italy The Art white night in Italy. With some friends, we decided to celebrate more during the day and discovering the Land Art park Cà la Gironda, near Bologna.

I was stunned at the view of the enormous contemporary park. Every sculpture, the open arena, the roses and trees (especially the cherry trees), brought us back in childwood memory. So running, laughing, chatting while discovering every single angle of it  made us feel little kids for a an hour.

The interiors were nevertheless very interesting. There are beautiful collections of ancient, modern and contemporay art near pianos and a little exhibition area for new events. It’s the ideal place to have an art holiday (lovely resort and restaurant in the same area of the park) or to set a great event.

It was like experiencing a secret art garden open to everyone. The perfect way to celebrate the Art White day (in our case). We were almost alone. This place deserves more visitors!

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
