Asian Film Festival 2013

asian.film.festival_reggioemiliaReggio Emilia (Italy). Everybody is waiting for the Asian Film Fetsival of the city (6-11 April), dedicated entirely to Asian productions, from Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea and first time ever in Europe to Myanmar.

This year among the guests there will be Emily Cheng, Kyi Soe Tun, Miwa Nishitakawa and many other brilliant Asian directors, that the Italian audience has scarcely to opportunity to meet.

The city, famous for many important Arts festival (like the Photography Festival or Dance Festival) and for its most famous cheese, the real Parmigiano Reggiano, is an ideal setting for a whole week dedicated to neverseenbefore movies, and for the international competition organized.

I have very high expectations, as this will be my first time covering it, probably reviewing one of Taiwan’s films.

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
