Bye Gabriele. A tribute to the Photographer Basilico

basilicoTo remember a good artist, you need to see his works. And that’s how we want to remember the professional life of Gabriele Basilico (1944-2013), Italian photographer. He passed away today, after our popular Carnivals and just at the beginning of the 63rd Sanremo Festival.

He made everybody aware of the Beauty and tragedy of Beirut. Great master of Landscape Photography, he left us the images of the renaissance of the cultural Milan. The Italian Art World will miss him.

He knew how to catch the new shape of Design and Architecture of the city. That spirit has inspired lots of young professionals all over the country. Thanks a lot.

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
