Portrait

portrait_writingThis poem was written when I was 17 years old. It’s about turning into a woman, and it won the critics award at my high school. It was published and they give me  my first cup-award. It’s a beutiful memory. But most of all, this is the only poem of mine that I  know by heart. Nearly 10 years passed by and now I decided to share it with all of you. Enjoy it.

A dream in a dream

lost in the infinity

a girl sleeps

and a Woman

wakes up.

On the same morning.

I thought I saw a Blue Moon

at the horizon

but only was

my imagination

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
