Rachel’s dream: a hope for Etiopia’s children

I propose you a very sad but important and true story. One day, in a school, a man coming from Africa speaks to the children of his country, where children don’t even have water to drink if they are thirsty. A very sensitive child, Rachel Berckwith, comes home telling her mom she wants to save money to help those children that she never met but she want to help. She couldn’t, later that same year she was killed in a car accident. But her parents didn’t forget her wish and so, to fulfill her dream, started a campaign for Etiopia‘ s children. What happened next is very touching. A single child can truly change the world. Check the video…

She gives me hope when the days are grey. And I think her story will bring hope to all the “Social Side” readers.

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
