Alexandra David Neel:a documentary

 In the collective imagination of Western Tibet is still a little-known, despite the excellent work of the European and American tibetologists. I propose you a video on Alexandra David-Neel , world-famous orientalist tibetologist journalist, first european to enter Lhasa.

In 1923, after a journey of over 3000km across the Himalayas, Alexandra David-Néel and 5 attempts was the first European to enter Lhasa, the city banned in Tibet, disguised in beggar-woman …The country was represented by a white spot on the charts.

Made world-famous by his achievement, the adventurer was in turn writer, journalist, world-famous orientalist, Buddhist, feminist and free thinker. She travelled all her life Asia that she left that at the age of 78, after half a century of exceptional meetings, philosophical studies and constantly renewed challenges.
