SANREMO 2012: unexpected performances and Cultural legacy

In Italy February represents the month of Music, because it has houses for over 60 years the International Festival of SANREMOFestival della Canzone Italiana.

The 2012 Edition was particularly important because it saw international duets with stars such as SARAH JANE MORRIS (of which I’ll propose an interview of some time ago), but also of great Italian singer-songwriters, including LUCIO DALLA, known throughout the world as the author of “CARUSO“, passed away suddendly on 2 March, two days before his 69’s birthday. He was Bologna‘s soul, the city that I usually write about.

The following articles on the blog will be dedicated to these issues, to celebrate once again the contemporary jazz, especially Italian.

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
