PARIS: selected fragments for a dream list

14-16 August 2011. Paris as a patchwork of reflections and memories of 20 days of a wonderful journey. Each visit to this magical city different sensations when you know it. I’ll then rewrite to points the places that I have given an incredible sense of serenity.

 Imagine writing a silent documentary…

PALAIS DE TOKYO (people dancing on a terrace)

QUAI BRANLY MUSEUM GARDENS (unknown views of the Eiffel Tower)

MUSEE GUIMET (for diving into the masterpieces of the Asia and far East)

TUILERIES (hunting for a shelter from the rain)

LOUVRE (a night in the shade of a pyramid transparent)

QUAI DE LA SEINE (Notre dame and the Parisian antique stalls)

CITE UNIVERSITAIRE (revisit two dearest friends in August after years)

QUARTIER LATIN (a stop for writing, reading or playing a piano to Shakespeare and co)

MONTMARTRE (dream of being a child on a horse carousel and buy all the paintings around)

Here ends a wonderful trip, ready to start a new one.  See you for the next carnet de voyage!

Originale
Mi limiterò quindi a riscrivere per punti i luoghi che mi hanno regalato un incredibile senso di serenità.

About Odile Milton

I travel through words whenever possible. Odile Milton is my signature on the web as I wanted an alter ego to indicate only my writings and works, not my personal life. Odile like the dancer in black swan, and Milton from the novel An old-fashioned girl. View all posts by Odile Milton
