Each January Bologna turns into the town of contemporary art, housing the ArtFirst fair, which brings together from throughout Italy but also from abroad, curators, collectors and beloved of contemporary art. And during Art White Night, the best of contemporary art shows up around the city.

This edition (27-30 january 2012) was particularly interesting for a number of news: shorter, with a very careful and selective to that of curators, which suggests the possibility of virtuous Affairs for the next few months, demonstrating that the sector of art can be an engine of recovery in the context of the crisis that has hit Europe.

Sketch the choreography in the night…

 Joy and wonder were the emotions when I knew that I’d spent the new year, 2012, in the beautiful city of the Doges, with two friends.

You feel that fear, obsession or worse the doubt knock at the door for too long. And you have to find an antidote for Sun and joy every day to fight all this. What’s next?It seems the obvious question, a visitor carries with him at the time of the visit to the Biennale d’Arte italiana for excellence according to the tradition, namely that of Venice. A good time to visit the Biennale is the end of October. There is huge, and you can visit the section “GIARDINI” as well as where it stands “ARSENALE”, with a calm. So I did, having the good fortune to avoid annoying winter rains.

I was appalled to find all the pavilions “Westerners” a kind of sense of alarm for our present and future. Very poor color artifacts, mostly related to past dictatorial or violent and alarming silence without explosions of lights or creativity.

Some exception? States and Sweden no less maudlin of other exhibitors however. Very pleasant discovery of places such as India or China, puffs of oxygen in a dangerously homogeneous and gray otherwise.

Perhaps the Lighting is to reflect, in rediscovering the value of individual meditation on tomorrow, which still wants to give joy and beauty but apparently hidden in very dense fogs.

Elegance is considered a quality Hedgehog if you love culture.

I thought I’d write a post on examples of everyday elegance that normally go unnoticed.

For example the story of a Sultan a Valley full of fruit trees with white flowers in spring in a valley of the country’s snow bride who loved by him not long ago, a cat that is perfectly zampina in the time of its amenities, the Roses bloom again in October.
